Open Door is hiring a Grant Writer for 15-30 hours per week. The grant writer will be responsible for writing proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects; for providing support materials; and for submitting timely and accurate reports for all existing grant funded projects. The right candidate will have strong writing and organizational skills with attention to detail. Proven success in writing grants is required.
Open Door is looking for Shelter Supervisors for 20-30 hours per week to provide overnight supervision and care to the guests in their year-round overnight shelter. Successful candidates will be able and willing to interact with shelter guests in a compassionate, Christ-like and respectful manner. Night shifts and holidays are required.

The Marketing & Digital Communications Associate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of the Open Door Mission's marketing program, including but not limited to e-mail marketing, website, social media and print media. They will develop all elements of the Mission's marketing to integrate with our culture and brand. This position will start at 25 hours/week and may increase in the future.
Open Door is hiring a part-time Bookkeeper for 15-20 hours per week with the potential to grow into full-time. The Bookkeeper will work in the administrative office and will be responsible to pay bills, work with the payroll company, prepare government forms and maintain all financial records for the organization, run reports, manage insurance coverage, etc. The right candidate will have the highest integrity, will have excellent organizational skills and will be a solution orientedproblem solver.
Open Door is hiring a part time (20+ hours) Events Coordinator to support the Open Door Mission team by coordinating internal events, external fundraising events, and assisting with community events to benefit the mission. A successful candidate will be a team-player, organized, self-starter with a positive attitude. Some evenings and weekends required.
The Volunteer Coordinator supports the Open Door Mission team by recruiting, scheduling and orienting volunteers and for the volunteer needs of the organization. This person will work 20+ hours/week and will be organized, have great communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to lead and work with people from many backgrounds. Some evenings and weekends required.
Support Services Coordinator
The Support Services Coordinator willsupervise activities in the Day Room area, build relationships, connect guests to resources, provide peer-counselling and share Christ. They will coordinate with outside partners to schedule services in the Day Room. This person will also organize and lead chapel and Bible classes, etc. The right candidate will have a mature faith in Christ and the ability to teach and lead. They will have a love and respect for our guests and the ability to build collaborative working relationships with our community and church partners.
