Glens Falls Code Blue
Glens Falls Code Blue provides emergency overnight shelter to homeless people in the Greater Glens Falls Area.
A Code Blue night is called when the forecast is for a temperature of 32 degrees or lower (including wind chill) or at least 12 inches of precipitation.
Code Blue will be located at the old Warren County Teen Detention facility on Gurney Lane. We will be open there from 6:00 at night until 8:00 in the morning.
Guest pickups will be at the Ridge Street Bus Kiosk at 6:10pm & 8:30pm with a bus back in the morning.

We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Code Blue Shelter in the following ways:
- filling shifts at the shelter when we're open
- providing meals for Code Blue guests on the days the Open Door Kitchen is closed
- driving the Code Blue shuttle from the Ridge St. Terminal in Glens Falls to the Code Blue Shelter at 46 Gurney Lane, Queensbury at 8:30pm.
- If you would like to volunteer at the shelter, please RSVP by clicking below to sing up for one of 4 training dates and then RSVP at signup.com, or email firstname.lastname@example.org . This training is MANDATORY for all volunteers and staff. We are in need of volunteers to fill shifts at the Code Blue shelter, provide meals for Code Blue, and drive the Code Blue Shuttle. The following Code Blue Training Dates are available: Tuesday January 10th and Thursday January 19th from 6:30pm-8:30pm @ the Open Door Kitchen.
