Join us for our first Hike for Hope fundraiser! The best part about this event is that you can pick anytime on the weekend of Aug. 7th to participate – there will be a couple of hikes to choose from and you can go at your own pace and your own people. Have fun, social distance, and help raise funds for The Open Door!

August 7th, 8th, or 9th – YOU choose the date.

WHERE
You choose! Here are a few recommended by the Adirondack Mountain Club or you can pick one of your favorites!

EASIER HIKES

**Inman Pond (2.7 miles, 344 feet) – Lake George
**Potash Mountain (2.8 miles, 1000 feet) – Lake Luzerne, also featured in Kids on the Trail! (A book ADK publishes)
**Shelving Rock Falls (3 miles, 718 feet) – Lake George, also has a waterfall up the road from the trail head for an additional mile roundtrip

HARDER HIKES

**Hadley Mountain (3.4 miles, 1500 feet) – Stony Creek, part of our Fire Tower Challenge
**Sleeping Beauty (6.8 miles, 1300 feet) (if you leave from Day Clearing Road, it is about 4 miles roundtrip). Lake George
**Cat and Thomas (9 miles, 1700 feet) – Riverbank, can also be reduced to just Cat (great view) or Thomas for a shorter day
