Glens Falls Code Blue provides emergency overnight shelter to homeless people in Warren, Washington, and Saratoga County. A Code Blue night happens when the forecast is for a temperature of 32 degrees or lower (including wind chill) or at least 12 inches of precipitation is predicted.
We launched Code Blue in January of 2014 when we saw there was no place locally for the homeless to get in out of the dangers of the cold. Responding to the needs as they come to light is a part of our mission to serve our community.
Code Blue Season is here, individuals interested in Code Blue can call to see if the shelter is open.
With our new location, we are able to shelter more people on an emergency basis to protect them from the extreme cold and winter weather.
As we shelter and provide services for more people, our expenses increase as well. Your donations are critical to helping us meet the needs of our community.
